Rose Rudman InstallationThis is the installation of artist, Nora Schreiber. During the month of April, 2016, the artist displayed works in the name of unity. The vinyl posters lead the viewer from either side of the path of Rose Rudman Park in Tyler, Texas. The posters show portraits of subjects with text across their face like a mask. These showcase complimentary words meant to act as a forced first impression. The sculptural element of the installation is a representation of people as a whole. Each of the plaster casts of the plastic bags are made the same way, with the same material. Yet, each of these is unique. No two bags are the same. Just like people. The bags look upon themselves in the mirror placed below. The gives them the idea that they are not alone and are better in unity.
